Crunchy home-made granola with a almond twist - delicious as breakfast cereal or as a snack.

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup buckwheat groats
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • ¼ cup coconut oil (liquid, heat in hot water bath if ncessary)
  • ¼ cup agave nectar (or pure maple syrup)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  1. Combine all ingredients until well mixed
  2. Put granola mix on a baking tray that is layered with parchment paper
  3. Bake at 325° F (=180° C) for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, so granola doesn't burn
